Mission Statement & Beliefs

Who?
Redeemer Christian School is made up of 12 families (28 students) from the Holland, Hudsonville, and Zeeland areas. Currently, we have 2 administrators; one serving as Director of Education and one serving as Director of Operations. We have 5 teachers serving in the following classrooms: Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd/3rd Grade, 4th/5th Grade, and 7th Grade. We also have a wonderful Teacher's Aide and an Administrative Assistant.

We offer classes for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. However, it is our plan to ultimately offer classes from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Mission Statement

Soli Deo Gloria Our mission is best captured by the great Reformation theme: “to God alone be the glory.” Romans 11:36 “For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.”

The mission of Redeemer Christian School is to glorify the God of our salvation by preparing students to live as God's covenant children in the world and equipping them to love and serve their God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
How?
Parents who send their children to Redeemer Christian School pay monthly tuition. However, this does not cover the all of the expenses needed to run the school. Redeemer Christian School does accept financial donations. We are registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your donations are 100% tax deductible. We are always looking for volunteers, asking for supply donations, searching for teachers, and sharing ways you can help Redeemer Christian School earn money to purchase supplies and equipment. Please visit the 'Giving & Support' page to see how you may be able to help!
We Believe

We believe that The Bible* is the infallibly inspired, written Word of God, the doctrine of which is contained in the Three Forms of Unity**. This forms the basis for administration and instruction in the school.

Our Sovereign, Triune, Covenant God has from eternity chosen, redeemed, and in time, forms a people unto Himself, that they may stand in covenant relation to Him and live in His praise in fellowship and loving service in all spheres of life, in the midst of a sinful world.

The training of the covenant children in the school, as well as in the home and Church, must serve to prepare them to follow their life-long calling to reveal the glory of their God in a life lived from the principle of redemption by grace.

*The supreme standard of the school’s organization shall be the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament, as translated and preserved for us in the King James (Authorized) Version of the Bible.
**The Three Forms of Unity are the Belgic Confession, The Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dordt
